Mary-Louise tries very hard to help as many people as she can, but struggles to help as many as she would like. Mary-Louise feels fortunate to be a princess and uses her role to bring aid and assistance to those less fortunate. While it would be simple to just give struggling families money from time to time, Mary-Louise finds it is much more rewarding for the individuals to develop skills to help them in the long run.

Mary-Louise would never turn away a hungry face or fail to help someone who needs assistance right away, but lately, she's turned most of her attention to building schools and training programs. Mary-Louise has found that many of those who need the most help would love to help themselves, but simply don't know how to find the right kind of job to earn enough money. By finding training programs and apprenticeships, Princess Mary-Louise doesn't just feed the family a single meal, she gives the family members confidence and a sense of pride in their own abilities.
